Finally our cd in duo, Salvatore Maiore and me is out: Pequenas flores do inferno, which means "small flowers from hell"...and I think that the title is a good resume of what you'll find in the music.
The label is "El gallo rojo records", a well known name now in the italian jazz field.

Hi everybody,
A fine gig will take place in Molfetta tomorrow, september 22nd: this time I'll be with the band of this fine sax player from Bari, European Sound Project  leaded by Felice Mezzina.
The place is called Dvorak, and you can check the link on how to get there.

Next week more gigs coming on:
On the 28th finally there will be the FIRST gig of "Gallo and the Roosters", leaded by Danilo Gallo.This group is part of the "El Gallo Rojo" association. and a cd was released some time ago: Todo Chueco.
this will happen in Garda, on the lake, close to Verona; before the "Roosters" there will be a short performance of our duo, together with Bass player Salvatore Maiore.
It will be a good chance to introduce our first cd work, also released by El Gallo Rojo Label: Pequenas flores do inferno.
This I'll introduce later on  on this blog...as soon as I'll have time!

Last but not least on september 30th, in Adria, a gig with the Fabio Petretti project: "Mozart in Jazz", which is the name of the new cd that come out recently. This is about Fabio's "Trip sax quartet" playing arrangements of Mozart's compositions in a Jazz way.

July 14th: Pordenone with Giovanni Maier and Simone Zanchini.
July 15th: In duo with Simone Guiducci at Cividate Camuno, for the Clusone Jazz Festival.
July 16th: Altamura, a project by Tonino Dambrosio over poems by Rocco Scotellaro.
July 17th: Chieti with the TRIP Sax quartet playing Mozart.

If I'll survive when I'll be back I'll keep posting more about oncoming gigs.

Hi everybody,
On december 7th there will be a nice gig in Faenza, at the "Museo Carlo Zauli": the first set will feature Roberto Dani on drum solo, then on the second set there will be a duo of Salvatore Maiore on bass and myself, mostly on bass clarinet, but also on alto sax.

14/12 At the Veronika Club in Parma, with Pampa Pavesi quartet
16/12 Brescia, with Simone Guiducci and his Gramelot ensemble (gig not confirmed yet)
22/12 "Pierino e il lupo" in Matera, with Ettore Fioravanti "Belcanto" and John De Leo

Later I'll post more details about those projets, the thing is that I'm so slow with this internet things...
